Awesome Futuristic Design Concepts

Le Petit Prince by Martin Miklica
Who says we're not prepared for life on Mars? This fabulous little gadget is designed to roam around Mars looking for nutrients for the plant inside.

Life in Futuristic Floating Pods
The floating walkways are designed to extend from piers and use the river current to spin their large turbines. Power would be generated silently while the passersby could also use the spaces within the network of turbines for walkways, public spaces, or even residences

Floating Cloud Sofa by D.K. Wei
Obviously, the cloud is a sofa concept designed sheerly for comfort, relaxation and fun. The soft floating upper part is supported by the magnetic force generated by the bottom base, and actually levitates. You could sit and work, too, as if you would. Perfect for that lunch break power nap, I’d say.

Nereus, the submersible Jetski, by Mathias Koehler
This whacky-looking concept uses the wind for propulsion, which means the rider can spend as long as they like out on, or under, the water.

The Nike Hindsight glasses design uses Fresnel lenses, which were originally developed for lighthouses and provide a wide aperture and short focal length. Although the lenses reduce image quality, the idea is that since they are located only on the sides of the glasses, little clarity is lost in the process as the eye only detects motion in that area.

Futuristic Bike Rack by Nikita Gutsalenko

Canvas Laptop Concept By Kyle Cherry
This computer is designed to increase the quality and productivity of the designer or artist. It is intended to allow a user with little or no experience to make the switch from traditional to digital workflows by building the system around a more familiar interface.

Future of Internet by Mac Funamizu
This is what I wish the internet search will be able to do with a mobile device in the NEAR future. Touch screen, built in camera, scanner, WiFi, google map (hopefully google earth), google search, image search… all in one device.
